Optravis supported Blaulichttag Basel by providing office location and a “hostage”
During Blaulichttag Basel, our office became the stage for a live emergency simulation. The day brought police and fire services into our workspace and offered a rare, behind-the-scenes look at how coordinated responses work in Basel. It was a unique experience for the wide audience and for all Optravis employees.
The demonstrations were clear and impressive. The fire brigade showed a fire rescue event with the ladder basket. The Basel police special unit “Basilisk” carried out a simulation inside the Optravis office. There was even a controlled flashbang as part of the scenario.
Optravis supported the Blaulichttag initiative by opening our office and helping to make the set-up possible. For us, it was more than a logistical task. It was a way to contribute to the local community. Even our team also experienced something unusual. A colleague volunteered as the “hostage” during the police scene – how varied a workday at Optravis can be ;).
